Lady Gaga's YouTube Page Suspended

Little monsters everywhere cried out in horror and outrage when they discovered that Lady Gaga's YouTube page has been suspended.  That's right, if you were to go to the singer's account on the site you would find the words “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s Copyright Policy.”  What is the meaning of this?!  And more importantly -- who do we point the finger at?

Apparently the account suspension is due to a recent performance Gaga had on Japanese TV.  Reports are claiming that the account was put on ice because the Born This Way diva posted her performance on Fuji TV’s SMAP x SMAP, without proper permission which is a huge legal faux pas.  This inevitably led to Media Interactive Inc. requesting the footage be taken down on Tuesday due to copyright infringement.  In the performance Gaga sings several cuts from her latest album, Born This Way.  So far the Mother Monster about the YouTube suspension, but did tweet about her excitement for the SMAP show saying, “My performance+cooking show appearance on SMAP SMAP is airing now in Japan. Kawaii Monsters!”  Let's hope that this all gets cleared up so Gaga's account can be back and running -- I need my daily dose of Gaga.  While most of the world loves the singer, she may not be getting any more offers to perform in Japan after this whole debacle -- Sayonara Gaga!
